Affirm with SSAAM - Black History is American History
Raising 80K to Celebrate 8 Years of Preserving, Restoring, Deepening the Understanding of Sourland African Americans
Celebrating the Historic Power, Resilience, and Contributions of African Americans in New Jersey and Beyond.
Guided by the enduring spirit of 'We Shall Not Be Moved,' SSAAM honors everyday African Americans who built community, persevered, and thrived in the Sourland Mountain Region of New Jersey and beyond, from the legacy of the slave trade to modern prosperity. SSAAM is expanding its educational programs and cultural exhibits. These initiatives highlight the significant contributions of African Americans and restore historic landmarks like Mt. Zion AME Church, inspiring future generations through history, culture, and community empowerment.
We will continue to preserve, restore, and expand the breadth and depth of the Sourland Region with supporters and followers like you!
